The
British Under 21 Championship for the Blind was held at
R.N.I.B. New College, Worcester on 9/10/11 July. The tournament
was a 5 round Swiss with 7 competitors. Clement Gass, a
visiting student from France, played the person who had
the bye.

name of Jonathan Whapples might be unfamiliar to many of
you, but I understand from Peter Gibbs , who controlled
the tournament, that Jonathan joined the B.C.A. at the U21
championship.
