B.C.A. British Championship 2009

Dauncey’s Hotel, Weston Super Mare 22nd to 29th August 2009

Due to unfortunate circumstances, the turn out for this year’s B.C.A’s British Championship was smaller than usual. However, with top ceeds International Master Colin Crouch and Candidate Master Chris Ross, this tournament was by no means weak.

Colin Crouch won the championship title by the 6^th tie-break decider (greater amount of blacks).

David Hodgkins and Stan Lovell shared 3^rd place.

Grading band B was won by Voldi Gailans and Gary Wickett.

Grading band A was won by David Gibbs.

The British Lady's title was won by Dorothy Hodges.
