BCA COMMITTEE ROLES

Here is a brief description to the duties performed by the BCA correspondence chess director.

The correspondence chess director facilitates correspondence chess among the membership of the BCA. He makes all the administrative requirements to run the various correspondence tournaments that the association conducts, including the British Championship and the ladder congresses.
This director ensures that regular notifications are placed in the Gazette, to keep everybody informed of the current progress of the tournaments and ensures that the appropriate congratulations and acknowledgements are highlighted.
The tournaments are conducted in several forms of media and this director will ensure that a person’s preferred form of media is accepted and that appropriate pairings with other players is made.
