Three players from the British Isles featured in the 5th IBCA European Individual championship held on the Greek island of Rhodes from5th to 16th September 2011.

Steve Hilton from Greenock finished on 4.5 from 9 and Bill Armstrong, formerly from Scotland, now resident in Leek, Staffordshire, finished on 3.5. Michael Delaney representing the Republic of Ireland also finished on 3.5.
The new European Champion is Pietr Dukaczewski, Poland who tied with three others on 7 from 9 but won the Gold medal on tie-break ahead of Smirnov, Russia, Silver and Grigorczick, Ukraine, Bronze. The reigning world champion, Meshkov, Russia finished 4th.
