New Booking ProcedureAll cheques for accommodation and entry fees should now be sent to
the B.C.A. treasurer:

When sending a cheque, please provide details of your booking
requirements including:¨Single room, twin room or double room.
- If
you prefer a bath or a shower.
- If you prefer a room in which you can smoke. Please note. Many hotels are adopting a
completely non smoking policy.
- If you will be bringing a guide dog.
- If you are on a special diet.
- If you have mobility problems and would benefit from being
located near to a lift or stairs.
- Any medical details that
you would like the association or the accommodation to be aware of.
Any other requests.
There is no need to send your requirements and requests to the
organiser, as the treasurer will do this.
Please do not make such requests direct to the hotel as this causes
confusion.
Those who prefer to make payments direct into the B.C.A. account
on-line or by direct bank transfer may do so but please ensure your payment
is cleared by the closing date and then inform the treasure, that your
payment has been made and include your booking requirements as listed above.
Any member wishing to discuss any point with the tournament organiser may
still do so.

Booking conditions.

UK residents under the age of 25 receive free entry and free
accommodation when playing in B.C.A. events. In certain circumstances, free
accommodation is also available to a parent or guardian accompanying a
child.
Cheques should be made payable to The Braille Chess Association or
B.C.A. Building society cheques
should have the name of the sender clearly marked. Post-dated cheques are
not accepted. Bookings accepted
after the advertised closing date are subject to a £10 late booking
fee. Late bookings are accepted at
the discretion of the organiser.
Those booking on-line or by a direct bank transfer must ensure their
payment is cleared by the closing date.
They must then inform the treasure rand include their booking
requirements. Members are requested
not to make requests for their room requirements direct to the hotel as
this causes confusion.
The B.C.A. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any entry or to
exclude any person from any event it runs.
